Sometimes you might be having a lot of responsibilities to take care of, however, this should not be a reason to overwork yourself. Ensure that after a long day at office, you get home and have a good rest that will help your body and mind to refresh and be able to start your day energized. You might manage to work for some time without enough rest, however, there will come a time when your body will get tired completely and you might end up falling sick due to fatigue and strain.

Another thing that contributes towards staying focused is being comfortable while working. If you feel and body discomfort, check whether the chair you are seating on at the office provides you with the comfort you need when working. The atmosphere of the room you are working from should be cool and to achieve this you need to have your room ventilated at all times.

It is normal to have the mid-afternoon slump especially if you have taken meals that contain high sugar. Thus, make sure that when you wake up in morning, you should take foods high in proteins and complex cars that do not easily break down into sugars that will cause the mid-afternoon slump.
